about the holiday
The Death of Pandak (August 13th) is one of the six Death Days honoring the founders of Gallifrey and understanding the consequences of becoming excessively caught up in your chapters' qualities. It is a holiday specific to the Scendelesean Chapter but members of all chapters participate.
In particular, the Death of Pandak is a day to acknowledge that you should not let others speak over you and that while supporting roles are important to communities you don't have to be stuck in them, or overshadowed. It is also a day that warns against overworking yourself.

ritual
Today is a day to understand the importance of support
To allow yourself rest and to acknowledge the accomplishments you have made
Many times, we overwork ourselves to the point of hurt
May we gain the wisdom to recognize these times and may we gain the will to ensure that we do not repeat them.
It is a day to understand the importance of supporting roles
But to acknowledge that the people in these roles may become overshadowed
And to recognize whether we may be ignoring our own needs in service of others
May we gain the wisdom to recognize this and may we gain the will to empower ourselves, and others.
Alone: Shadows hide me, stars guide me
Within a group: Shadows hide you from what may harm you, Stars guide you to the truth.
